Spiritual Battle Wounds

LeAnn Jahn • Sep 28, 2021
An army of soldiers lay wounded, and some dead, on the battlefield.
Peter, the High King, had just defeated
the White Witch and all of her soldiers vanish.
Lucy, finally having her chance to help,
goes around to all of Aslan's fallen soldiers.
She had been given a gift from Father Christmas,
who gave her instructions:

""In this bottle, there is a cordial made of the juice of the fire-flowers
that grow in the mountains of the sun.
If you or any of your friends are hurt, a few drops will restore them."

―Father Christmas [src]

Lucy follows these instructions to revive Aslan's army.

While this story came from a great work of art,
a few years ago, I had a similar vision
where God's people were in an army camp.
They were dragging their swords and were weary from battle.
Then a voice said, "Revive my people for battle."

As believers, we are told in the Bible
that we will have trouble (John 16:33).
We do, after all, live in a fallen world
where we battle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness,
and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

Our hope is that you would find our family
and the resources available on this website
as a spiritual "cordial"
for the battle wounds in your life.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus the Messiah, the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."

- 2 Corinthians 13:14
